Porsche driver Pusey in new bail bid

Richard Pusey is charged with posting images online from the crash that killed four police officers. (AAP)

Porsche driver Richard Pusey should be denied bail because they are a threat to the community, a prosecutor says.

The 43 year old, who uses they/them pronouns, is charged with posting graphic images online from the 2020 crash that killed four Victoria Police officers after they had pulled Pusey over for speeding.

Pusey allegedly attached an image from the Eastern Freeway scene to an email to the Australian Financial Complaints Authority and posted another photo to a review on the Porsche Centre Melbourne home page.

They are also charged with committing offences while on bail.

The alleged offending was "inherently offensive" and the people who had to view the images found them "incredibly distressing", prosecutor Anthony Albore said on Friday.

It's alleged the offending occurred two weeks after Pusey was last released on bail.

Pusey also allegedly made threats in phone calls and letters while in custody, claiming they would harm people when back in the community, Mr Albore said.

But the 43-year-old denied making any threats, telling Justice Lesley Taylor they were venting because they were frustrated.

Self-represented, Pusey claimed they were being denied medical care in custody, including being refused blood tests and necessary intramuscular injections.

They claimed the prosecution case was weak and said they had documents that could disprove the allegations.

An emotional Pusey also said they required more psychological support, but that was not possible behind bars.

Justice Taylor will hand down a decision later on Friday.
