In a move that’s sure to delight Celtic supporters, WWE superstar CM Punk has once again showcased his admiration for the Scottish Premiership champions.
Ahead of Monday Night Raw at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow, Punk was seen donning a Celtic jersey and displaying a championship belt adorned with the club’s iconic green and white colours.
(Image: WWE) This isn’t the first time Punk has expressed his affinity for Celtic. Last summer, he made headlines by wearing a Celtic top during a WWE media event following a feud with Rangers-daft Drew McIntyre.
Punk’s appearance at the OVO Hydro is part of WWE’s European tour - billed as John Cena’s big farewell - with Monday Night Raw set to feature an exciting line-up.
Fans can anticipate matches such as Lyra Valkyria defending the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Raquel Rodriguez, and a tag team bout with Jey Uso and a mystery partner, speculated to be Scotland's own Joe Hendry, facing A-Town Down Under.
Punk himself is expected to deliver a promo, adding further intrigue to the evening’s events.

As the WWE universe casts its eyes on Glasgow, Punk’s embrace of Celtic adds a local flavour to the global spectacle.
In a clip shared before thousands of spectators entered the 14,000 capacity venue, located next to the River Clyde, Punk said: "Everybody over here in Scotland loves me, so it's cool to be embraced by something that's so important to Scottish people and Scottish culture.
“I know there are two teams but look at how beautiful this (Celtic replica belt) is. Does Drew (McIntyre) not like Celtic? Well that’s too bad – which is the superior team, Drew?”
