One of Dublin's most popular wedding venues has announced that it will cease to operate in the first week of December.
The Finnstown Castle Hotel in Lucan has been a much loved spot for couples and was also known for its dining options including Afternoon Tea. The current operators confirmed that employees will keep their jobs as new operators are set to take over the venue in the coming weeks.
A statement on the four star hotel's website confirmed the news today. Bookings from December 6 cannot be made on the hotel's online booking system and information on the venue's wedding packages appears to be no longer available.

The statement said: "Finnstown Castle Hotel will cease to operate from 6th December 2022. Our thanks, appreciation and thoughts are with our longstanding and dedicated team, whose employment will continue with the new operators. To our customers and suppliers, we thank you for our loyal support and patronage."
