Resident chefs at Edinburgh's Home Bar in Tollcross, the Typhoon Ten team have built a loyal following on account of their meat-free burgers, nachos, dirty fries and sides, along with mouthwatering menu items including the cajun coated chick'n burger, shredded red cabbage and crispy lettuce slathered in peanut satay sauce and their BBQ jackfruit dirty fries.
Explaining their concept, founders Barnes and Sam said: "We feel passionate that being vegan doesn’t need to mean missing out.
"The pandemic seemed a perfect time to think about doing something different and as keen amateur cooks, we started to realise we could marry our passion for vegan cooking and head in a new direction professionally. We started taking over the kitchens at a few different pubs on a regular basis and the feedback on the food was great – it really spurred us on to take Typhoon Ten forward."
Joining Typhoon Ten and their vegan delights at The Big Feed this weekend will be the likes of The Falafel Shop, Moskito Spanish Bites and Duck Street Food.
