A popular café in Glasgow's southside has confirmed it has closed its doors - however, the team behind it were quick to reassure customers the move wasn't a permanent one.
Promising to return with a "new name and new concept", the team behind Ollie's on Nithsdale Road pointed out it would reopen soon.
Posting on their official Facebook page, they wrote: "The rumours doing the rounds of the streets of Pollokshields are true… we have closed the doors of 'Ollie’s'!
"BUT, WAIT…. This is not the end. The same team are going to be back VERY soon with something new."

Telling people to "stay tuned", they added that it would be transformed into something new, and confirmed they would be reopening in the same spot
They finished by stating: "P.S. thank you, to every single one of you, for the immense support over the last eight years, we hope you will be as excited for the change as we are."
Fans of the café flocked to comment on the news, with one writing: "Can't wait. Always excited for new options in the neighbourhood...and this one comes with familiar faces."
While another added: "This is giving me the fear. It’s a family favourite. Please don’t change too much!"
Actor and fan of Ollie's Tom Urie even got involved writing: "Thanks for being wonderful over the years and as long as the coffee machine stays, so do I."
