Popular Nottingham pub closing for a month for 'amazing' revamp

A Nottingham pub will be shutting for just over a month for a major revamp. The Grosvenor in Mansfield Road, Carrington, will be closed from Monday, February 27. Greene King bosses said it was going to be an "amazing investment."

They haven't revealed any details about the makeover although they have promised sneak peeks in the coming weeks on the pub's social media pages on Facebook and Instagram. There will also be giveaways.

The new-look pub will reopen its doors to the public on March 24. Its long history dates back to the early 19th century when it was called the Black Head's Inn.
