Popular Netflix series spotted filming in Glasgow takeaway

A POPULAR Netflix show has been spotted filming in a Glasgow takeaway.

The team from award-winning kebab shop Shawarma King shared photos on their Instagram page of film crews in their kitchen.

They tagged American TV writer and producer Philip Rosenthal, who is known for creating and producing the CBS sitcom Everybody Loves Raymond.

It is thought that the crew were there filming an episode of Rosenthal's hit Netflix food travel documentary, Somebody Feed Phil.

In the programme, Phil visits locations around the world to try the best cuisine in each, from Thailand to Italy.

In early 2023, Somebody Feed Phil was renewed for a seventh series.

Shawarma King has a reputation in the city for its award-winning kebabs, having scooped the title of Best Kebab House in Scotland for the second year running back in January.
