Boutique fitness brand Barry’s is bringing its “world-famous” workouts to Liverpool when it opens a gym in the city later this year.
The fitness brand, which was founded in 1998, is popular with celebrities and has studios around the world. Its UK gym locations include London and Manchester.
Barry's is considered the original high-energy, cardio and strength interval training workout that "pioneered the boutique fitness movement".

The new Liverpool studio, known as the Red Room, will feature Barry’s trademark mix of red lights, mirrors, nightclub spec sound system and Woodway treadmills. There will also be other fitness equipment, including dumbbells, benches and resistance bands.
The new studio will have deluxe changing facilities including complimentary towel service and luxury beauty and grooming products.
There will also be a Barry’s Fuel Bar offering a menu of nutritious, post-workout shakes by award-winning protein brand HERMOSA. Customers can also buy Barry’s vests, t-shirts, sweatshirts and leggings.
Sandy Macaskill, co-owner, Barry’s UK, says, “We’d wanted to open a Barry’s in this fantastic city much sooner because Liverpool just seems like a perfect fit for the Red Room, but the pandemic got in the way. We can’t wait to open this summer and give Liverpool a taste of the best workout in the world.”
