Many Brits will be eager to go abroad this summer as lots of countries ease their restrictions after the pandemic. Portugal is one of the latest countries to scrap its entry requirements, meaning passengers no longer have to show proof of vaccination or a negative test.
Previously holidaymakers had to comply with strict measures when travelling abroad, including taking PCR tests and completing passenger locator forms. The UK was one of the first countries to remove all of its travel restrictions in March this year.
Thanks to the vaccine rollout, many popular holiday destinations have gradually eased their entry requirements, which speeds up the arrival process and makes it easier for those who are not fully vaccinated to go on holiday. However, some countries still have measures in place and it’s important to check the latest government guidance before you travel.
