A Dublin restaurant has closed the doors of its two premises as a result of “difficult trading conditions”.
Let’s Eat In, located on both the Old Bray Road in Shankill and in Sandyford Business Park, served a variety of cuisines including Thai, Chinese, Indian, and Mexican dishes to its customers. The business was praised in reviews for its entirely halal menu and was described as an “ideal” restaurant for Muslim diners.
The owners wrote: “It is with heavy hearts that we must confirm the closure of Let’s Eat In Sandyford & Shankill, which has now permanently ceased trading. The decision was taken following difficult trading conditions which made the continuation of the business unviable.”

Let’s Eat In first opened in 2005 and is described online as Ireland’s first multi-cuisine food delivery service. The owners mentioned in an Instagram that they cater to a large radius in Dublin for delivery.
Diners expressed their disappointment at the news online and were quick to praise staff for their excellent service over the years. One person wrote: “You will be greatly missed. We are gutted as you provided an amazing delivery service to us for at least 10 years! Thank you and wishing you all the best in your new chapters.”
Let’s Eat in is one of several Dublin based restaurants to close their doors in recent weeks as many businesses grapple with high inflation. Vegan Sandwich Co previously announced they were closing their Rathmines branch due to rising prices, although their Smithfield and city centre locations remain open.
