Glasgow chef Julie Lin has been recognised for her work in the food industry after being named in Code Hospitality's Women of the Year 2023 list.
Now in its fifth year, the list - previously known as 100 Most Influential Women in Hospitality - returned to champion the unsung women in the industry.
More than 500 nominations were submitted across various categories, including campaigners, connectors and leaders. The judges selected 83 women from a diverse range of career paths who've been changing the face of the hospitality industry over the past 12 months.

Announcing the news on Instagram, Julie said: "Just been named one of the Women of the year 2023 @codehospitality.
"I am incredibly grateful and humbled to have been voted Code Hospitality's Women of the Year 2023. It is an honour to be recognised among so many talented and deserving individuals in the hospitality industry.
"I am so thankful for this recognition and I am committed to continuing to work hard and make a positive impact.
"I’ve had lovely messages about this from fellow women in the industry and support @romygill @alessandra_pili @ghilliebasan and lots more, too many for this post to give credit to."
Julie is set to go on tour with a quirky pop-up restaurant with a twist - where everything on the menu is made from tinned food.
Taking inspiration from new research which shows the majority (59%) of people in Glasgow have concerns about tinned food, the TV star is hoping to change perceptions of tinned food by teaming up with Zero Waste Scotland to create a radical new restaurant concept called ‘Julie’s Can-teen’.
Set to appear at Glasgow Science Centre on March 29, the restaurant will offer diners a menu of dishes all made from tinned food.
