Two popular Edinburgh influencers have announced they will be opening up a new 'inclusive' beauty salon in the capital.
Charlie Allan and Lauren Faulkner initially shot to fame in 2020 following their YouTube channel titled 'Trans Life & Wife', where they spoke about their life as a couple as Charlie transitioned.
Gaining thousands of followers online, the couple have also taken part in a BBC documentary which opened up about Lauren's mental health struggles after being diagnosed with OCD.

Titled 'Not your average influencers', the pair announced their next venture this week, as they prepare to launch a brand new beauty salon in Edinburgh.
Finally sharing the news with followers, the couple said the plans for the new business, 'Booyah', had been more than two years in the making, and shared some behind the scenes images of the site.

Speaking on Instagram, Charlie, 23, said: "After two years of planning we are so excited to share with you our new business venture. Everyone deserves to feel confident and we have designed a salon for both clients and staff to express themselves freely.
"Keep an eye out on @booyahbeautybar for updates if you want to join our team the information is on the page ! Can’t wait to welcome you all."
An official opening date is yet to be set, however speaking on her Instagram page, Lauren added that the process behind creating the salon would be featured in their upcoming documentary that will air in 2023.
