One of the most popular names on the Edinburgh coffee scene will welcome in customers to its new cafe this week.
Work has been underway to transform the space at 38 Marchmont Road into a beautiful sit-in and takeaway space serving delicious speciality coffee.
The Machina team have been operating a pop-up grab-and-go coffee spot from the premises since earlier in the year, however they've today (Monday) welcomed in the first customers for takeaway, before full sit-in service begins later this week.

Announcing the exciting news on Instagram, Machina commented: "The weather ain’t great but we’ve decided to go for it.
'If you’re in Marchmont you can grab takeaway coffee and bags of freshly roasted #machinacoffee beans from us.
"Main cafe opening (including sit in) happening later in the week as we figure out the last few final details.
Earlier this year the owners announced they were coming to Marchmont, while teasing more Machina cafes across the capital may be coming soon.
They said: "We are incredibly excited to announce the opening of our new café space in Marchmont, Edinburgh.
"The café will be a takeaway pop-up while the main premises are renovated, which will host event and demo space in addition to café services.
"We’ll be serving our Edinburgh roasted Machina Coffee, including a range of our own espresso blends, single origin espresso drinks, and single origin filter. We’ll also be stocking bags of coffee beans for you to brew at home, as well as the essentials in your barista kit.
"This is a start to a busy period for Machina, as Marchmont is the first of a series of specialty coffee spaces we plan to open across Edinburgh in the near future. Watch this space!"
