A RENOWNED Scottish cocktail bar in Aberdeen has been put up for sale.
The award-winning Orchid bar has served up hundreds of thousands of drinks throughout the 15 years it has been in operation.
It first opened in 2009 and has been named as one of the UK’s 50 best bars and was shortlisted for GQ magazine’s bar of the year award.
It is regarded as one of the best late-night venues in the city having also won the SLTN Best Cocktail Bar in Scotland award four times.
The basement of the establishment was also where the first distillates of the well-established Porter’s Gin were created.
The directors of the three-storey venue are now looking for new owners to take on the business.
A statement read: “For now, it is business as usual so please do continue to visit for a cocktail or two as a new chapter for 51 Langstane Place awaits.”
The bar is on the market for offers from £325,000.
