Popular BBQ spot reopens months after abrupt closure

A popular BBQ eatery has returned to its trading spot months after it suddenly shut.

Smokin Bones is a franchise serving BBQ food, known for its ribs and briskets. The chain also has locations in Temple Bar, Castle Market and Swords.

Staff at the Walkinstown spot announced the sad news they were closing shortly after Christmas. However, the eatery has made a comeback and has resumed trading.

Smokin Bones wrote on Instagram: "It has been crazy but we got there in the end and are so happy to be back. We have missed our neighbours and amazing customers at the Walkinstown Roundabout - hopefully see you all at the container to try some low and slow ribs and so much more."

The trading spot is located across from the Cherrytree pub on approach to the roundabout. BBQ lovers can also order for delivery from the establishment.
