An iconic Ayrshire boozer is getting set to swing its doors open after a refurbishment.
The Kadikoi's new owners have spruced up the popular Kilmarnock venue, and punters will be welcomed back on Saturday, July 16.
Fenwick's Kings Arms owners Mikey Lennon and Gareth took over the Bonnyton Road pub after long-serving Frank McEwan retired.
They announced: "The moment you’ve all been waiting for...
"We are delighted to announce we will be opening the doors and inviting you all back with a warm welcome on Saturday, July 16.
"Doors will open from 11am but we’ll be having a grand opening party from 8pm that evening with the live entertainment being supplied by the fantastic Johnny Graham.
"We can’t wait to meet you all. Customers old and new. So if you’re returning or trying for the first time get along and get ready for a topper of a night.
"Get it in the diary, get the babysitters sorted, get the story made up for the spouse... you’ve had plenty warning.
"We’ll see you all soon and can’t wait."
The pub, which is popular with Killie fans, has recognised the link between the Ayrshire side and German club Kaiserslautern by erecting a sign which merges both team's colours.
