Popular Asian street food chain BaoBun to open its first table service restaurant in Ballyhackamore

A popular NI street food chain has announced that it will open its first table service restaurant next year.

BaoBun first landed in Belfast in 2017 and has rapidly grown into a highly respected brand across the country. Selling Independent Taiwanese street food, it also now has locations south of the border.

With three shops operating on Botanic Avenue, the Lisburn Road and Ballyhackamore in Belfast, the company revealed their latest venture on Wednesday.

Taking to social media, BaoBun shared their plans to open a sit-in experience in their licenced Ballyhackamore branch. The expansion will offer all their classic street food menu items with a twist.

In a post on Instagram, BaoBun said: "BaoBun Deluxe coming soon!

"Yes we are opening our first table service Restaurant in the Ballyhackamore branch early 2023!

"Same food only served differently.

"You can now even mix and share your food"

BaoBun Deluxe will open in East Belfast in 2023.
