Popular Arnold McDonald's closed temporarily for improvement work

A popular branch of McDonald's is temporarily closed while improvement work takes place. Barriers can be seen across the entrance of the branch of the famous fast food restaurant on Sir John Robinson Way in Arnold.

This McDonald's closed on Tuesday (April 12) and is set to reopen later in the month, on April 28. A number of cars could still be seen turning into the car park and drive through, only to be met with barriers and a sign saying 'store closed'.

Large posters read: "We're busy making some exciting changes. We reopen on April 28." Those that are looking for a nearby McDonald's are encouraged to use the app. Cars can still turn into the entrance of McDonald's, which is causing confusion for some.

Conlon Construction appears to be the contractor carrying out the work (Jake Brigstock / Nottinghamshire Live)

But when they do, a line of traffic cones greets them, with the 'store closed' signs, along with metal barriers. Conlan Construction signs can be seen on the metal barriers, and appear to be the contractor carrying out the improvement works.
