POPULAR American fast food chain Popeyes has announced the opening of its first-ever Edinburgh restaurant.
This is part of a plan by the company to open more than 45 locations across the UK by the end of 2025.
Tom Crowley, Popeyes UK Chief Executive Officer, said that an Edinburgh restaurant has been "highly requested" since the chain first arrived in the UK.
He added that they are "so delighted" to make this wish a reality and that after seeing Scottish fans queue for up to 18 hours for previous openings, they are "confident" that the new restaurant will be a hit.
