American chicken chain Popeyes has confirmed its third UK restaurant will open this year.
The fast food giant – which launched in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1972 - opened its first UK branch in Westfield Stratford, London, in November last year.
Its second restaurant will open in Chelmsford, Essex, on June 11, with another site in Romford set to welcome customers later this year.
The Romford restaurant will be the third Popeyes in the UK and the company’s second sit-down restaurant after Chelmsford.
Popeyes diners will be able to get their hands on all the iconic menu items including the legendary Chicken Sandwich, and original Southern biscuits and gravy.
An American biscuit is more like what the British would call a savoury scone, and is traditionally served with gravy.
UK customers also get to order the firm's handmade milkshakes, in flavours including biscuit brands Lotus Biscoff and Oreo.

Popeyes is aiming to open hundreds of sites in the UK over the next decade across shopping centres, high streets and drive thru locations.
The food giant has also launched additional delivery kitchens with Deliveroo Editions in Battersea, Whitechapel and recently Maida Vale.
Another delivery kitchen is due to open in Bermondsey next month, expanding its delivery reach across more areas of London.
Popeyes is celebrating 50 years since it first launched in the US. Overall the chicken chain has 3,600 restaurants in 25 countries.
Its Stratford branch is now the highest taking restaurant globally since opening less than half a year ago.
Its expansion to UK shores follows American diner chain's Wendy's - which has returned to high streets for the first time in 21 years.
The popular chain, which shut its last remaining British branch in 1999, last year opened a UK store in Reading.
