Popeyes announces opening date for first-ever Edinburgh restaurant

POPEYES has announced the opening date for its first-ever restaurant in Edinburgh.

The popular American fast food giant shared that customers will be able to enjoy the sweet taste of Louisiana in the Scottish capital from next week.

This forms part of a plan by the firm to open more than 45 new locations across the UK by the end of 2025.

Previously, Tom Crowley, Popeyes UK Chief Executive Officer, said that an Edinburgh restaurant has been "highly requested" since the chain first arrived in the UK.

He added that they are "so delighted" to make this wish a reality and that after seeing Scottish fans queue for up to 18 hours for previous openings, they are "confident" that the new restaurant will be a hit.
