Pop Smoke's funeral sees fans line the streets for horse drawn funeral procession

Pop Smoke's funeral saw fans line the streets of Brooklyn to pay their last respects to the rapper.

His coffin was carried through his hometown in an elaborate curtained hearse pulled along by two matching white horses.

Mentor and close friend 50 Cent's custom Lamborghini also joined the precession, though the rapper wasn't behind the wheel.

At one point the carriage made its way past a mural honouring Pop Smoke, real name Bashar Barakah Jackson.

Barricades lined the pavements of the residential neighbourhood of Canarsie to keep fans at bay, reports TMZ .

It was initially reported Pop's death was the result of a robbery gone wrong, with the rapper posting photos and videos of his designer goods and stacks of cash hours before the shooting.

In one of his last Instagram clips, Pop accidentally flashed up his home address to his thousands of followers.

So far no arrests have been made on the case.
