Pop superstar Kylie Minogue has been crowned the queen of celebrities who are fab at 50.
The 53-year old Aussie singer was named the sexiest star to hit or go over the half century mark with Liz Hurley, 56, second and Jennifer Aniston, 53 in third place.
Hollywood silver fox George Clooney, 60, and Brad Pitt, 58, also made the top 10 of showbiz personalities who still have the X-factor in middle age.
The survey of 1,500 Brits aged fifty and over, rated Greatest Showman actor Hugh Jackman, 53, Dame Helen Mirren, 76, Jennifer Lopez, 51 and cookery pin-up Nigella Lawson, 62 as some of the hottest stars they would love to meet on a date.
Strictly Come Dancing presenters Tess Daly, 53, and Claudia Winkleman, 50 both made the list at numbers seven and 25 respectively.
Glamorous couple former US President Barack Obama, 60, and his wife Michelle, 58 were in top 25 along with Danni Minogue, 50, Colin Firth, 61 and Cindy Crawford, 56.
A third of those polled said their favourite celebrities had aged gracefully and looked better now then when they were younger.
Six in 10 of the over 50s said age was “just a number” and almost half felt more confident in later years compared with their twenties.
And a quarter revealed they felt sexier in their fifties then in the prime of youth, according to the study by online dating service Ourtime.
Now wonder then that a fifth of the frisky fifties are more romantic today and have sex more often than when they were in their thirties.

More than half agreed the notion that “you’re past it” by middle age is outdated and a third feel the stereotype that mature folk “let themselves go” is also old hat.
Ourtime spokesperson Joanna Pons said: “It’s fascinating to get an insight into the mindset of over 50s in the UK and to discover the celebs they find the sexiest, with the likes of Kylie Minogue, Tess Daly and Hugh Jackman chosen as the men and women we’d ‘swipe right’ for.
“It’s also great to see that age really is just a number for most of us. More confident, less inhibited and ready for real romance - now is the perfect time for single Brits to get out there and find someone with a shared passion for life and experiences.
“Who knows, your very own Kylie Minogue or George Clooney may be waiting for you!”
