Two polling places near the West Chester, Pennsylvania, locations were evacuated due to a bomb threat. In response, these polling places will remain open until 10 p.m. to accommodate redirected voters. Josh Maxwell, chair of the Chester County Board of Elections, confirmed this decision.
A Chester County court order has been issued to allow affected voters to fill out provisional ballots at alternative locations. Voters who are in line by 10 p.m. ET will be permitted to vote, even after 10 p.m. ET if necessary.
Following a bomb threat that led to the evacuation of a building in West Chester, where voting services are situated, voters were redirected to nearby locations as a precautionary measure.
This incident is part of a series of reported bomb threats in various swing states on Election Day. Georgia and Arizona have also experienced non-credible bomb threats. Officials in these states suspect that the threats may have originated from Russia.
