POLL: Do you agree with Aintree dropping its dress code?

The world famous Grand National is set to return in April and the Jockey Club has issued a major dress code announcement ahead of it.

Race-goers will know the stress that comes with finding the perfect race day outfit. Whether that be finding a beautiful dress to match your flashy fascinator or searching for a formal three piece suit. The struggle is something those who have attended Aintree will know all too well.

That is all about to change. The Jockey Club has announced dress codes will be longer be in place at any of their racecourses, with Aintree included.

A statement issued by The Jockey Club's Chief Executive, Nevel Truesdale read: ''We are encouraging you to dress as you feel most comfortable and confident on racedays''.
