Police want to speak to this man after a woman was sexually assaulted on a bus

Officers have released a picture of a man they want to speak to after a 21-year-old woman was sexually assaulted on a bus.

Police from GMP's Stockport district trying to piece together exactly what happened are looking to speak with this man. They believe he may have "vital information" about the incident.

On Friday, February 18, a 21-year-old woman was sexually assaulted by a man who started speaking to her as she sat on the lower deck of a bus. She was travelling on a double-decker 313 Stagecoach bus from Stockport town centre, heading towards Manchester Airport, at the time.

PC Jim Felton said: "The woman was sitting at the rear on the lower deck when a man approached her and struck up a conversation before sexually assaulting her. We would like to speak to the man in the photo as we believe he may have vital information to assist our investigation."
