Cops have swooped in on a quiet residential street in a Scots town amid an "ongoing incident".
Officers alerted the public just after 5.15pm that they were at the scene at Southesk Terrace in Brechin, Angus.
Police in the area have urged locals to keep clear of the scene. However, the force say there is no risk to the wider community.
A statement by Tayside Police Division said: "Police Scotland would like to advise members of the public they are currently dealing with an ongoing incident at Southesk Terrace, Brechin.
"Police are at scene and dealing, officers would like to advice that there is no risk to the winder community, however members of the public are asked to keep clear of the area at this time."
