Police have been called out to a Leeds street this afternoon after reports a group of people fighting in the streets armed with weapons.
An eyewitness told LeedsLive they had seen police and helicopters on Woodsley Road, Hyde Park again today after there was a police standoff on the street on Sunday, May 1, that saw a 'wanted man' on a roof.
However, when West Yorkshire Police arrived at the scene, the reported fight was not ongoing.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "Officers were called to Woodsley Road, Leeds, at 4.17pm today (Wednesday, 4 May) following a report of a number of people fighting in the street, some reportedly armed with weapons. On police attendance, there was no incident ongoing.
"Officers have been making enquiries at the scene but at this time no injuries or damage to property have been reported. A crime of affray has been recorded but no arrests have been made in connection with this incident."
The woman who got in touch with LeedsLive reported having seen a police presence at the scene which included armed officers, vans and helicopters. She said that the incident quietened down more quickly than the incident on Sunday.
Woodsley Road was closed on May 1 with police at the scene from 8am - the man was on the roof for at least seven hours.
