Police swooped on a Wirral hospital after threats were made to staff.
Merseyside Police were called to Clatterbridge Hospital on Wednesday, April 26, after staff received a phone call. It was reported to police that threats were made over the phone, sparking a police response.
A 58-year-old man from the Cheshire area was arrested on suspicion of malicious communication. He is currently in custody where he will be questioned by officers.

A spokesperson from Merseyside Police said "enquiries into the matter are ongoing."
