Police have surrounded a Liverpool street after a body was found in a home.
Merseyside Police arrived at Witton Road in Tuebrook at around 2.40pm on Tuesday, December 13, after receiving a call. Once they arrived at the scene they found the body of a woman inside a home.
The North West Ambulance Service were called to the scene, but the person was pronounced dead. Officers are treating the death as unexplained as they carry out further investigations.

Officers have said there are currently no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death, and the coroner has been informed.
A total of four police cars and a scientific support van were at the scene, with eyewitnesses reporting seeing two ambulances earlier in the afternoon.
A Merseyside Police spokesperson said: "We are currently responding to a report of an unexplained death on Witton Road, Tuebrook. We responded to a report at around 2.40pm and officers remain at the scene at this time."
