Police stormed a Merseyrail train after a school boy "made threats to staff" while onboard.
Merseyrail informed customers that trains running on the Southport and Hunts Cross lines on Monday, October 10, would be delayed or cancelled due to a "disturbance" onboard at Bank Hall train station. The incident happened at around 3.50pm and staff were forced to call British Transport Police for assistance.
Officers attended a short time later and found a teenage boy was making threats towards a member of rail staff.

A spokesperson from British Transport Police said: "British Transport Police were called to Bank Hall station at 3.50pm today following reports of a young person making threats towards a member of rail staff. Officers attended and located the teenage boy.
"He was given a caution."
A spokesperson from Merseyrail said: "Due to passengers causing a disturbance on a train at Bank Hall disruption is expected until 5pm."
