Two men remain in hospital and police are still searching for a wanted man after a double stabbing on Friday night.
At around 7.35pm on Friday, June 17 , police received a report that two men had been stabbed following an altercation outside Yates' Wine Lodge, near to Queen Square bus station in Liverpool city centre. Emergency services attended and both men were taken to hospital to be treated for stab wounds.
A witness told the ECHO that he saw two men lying on the floor and a group of around 12 to 15 people crowded around them. He said they were both taken to hospital in separate ambulances.

The suspect, described as a black male, of slim build and wearing a dark jacket, is reported to have made off on foot in the direction of Lime Street station. An investigation was launched on Friday, as officers carried out CCTV, witness and forensic enquiries .
On Wednesday (June 22), a Merseyside Police spokesperson told the ECHO that there have been no arrests yet in relation to the incident and the suspect is still wanted.
The spokesperson added that both men remain in hospital. Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information is urged to contact Merseyside Police.
