Police statement as woman's body found inside Leeds house

Leeds West Yorkshire Police

Police have released a statement after a woman was found dead inside of a Leeds house.

The late woman was found in a house in Embleton Road, Methley, at 12.09pm yesterday (Monday, April 11). West Yorkshire Police attended the scene and do not believe anything suspicious occurred.

A spokesperson for the force said: "At 12.09pm on Monday, police were contacted by the ambulance service who were attending an address in Embleton Road, Methley, where a woman had been found dead.

"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances."
