Police have seized more than two dozen gel blasters from a house in Adelaide's north after a concerned member of the public reported seeing rifles in the window.
The property at Mawson Lakes was searched by police who attended the home about 9:30am.
Twenty-six allegedly unregistered gel blasters were seized, some of which look like handguns, with others resembling bolt-action rifles and machine guns.
A 48-year-old man who lives at the house was reported for various firearms offences.
He will face the Elizabeth Magistrates Court at a later date, police said.
Police said the search was triggered by a member of the public who "reported seeing what appeared to be two rifles in the window of the house".
"Police remind the public that it is an offence to possess gel blasters without a licence and they must be registered," police said.
SA Police tightened restrictions on gel blasters in 2020, following a series of incidents causing injury.
The weapons often closely resemble fully fledged assault rifles, and are now regulated like other firearms.
