POLICE Scotland have seized "£400,000 worth of cannabis" in a huge drugs raid near a Scottish town.
Two people have been arrested following the police operation in North Ayrshire on Thursday, with police searching a property near Beith and recovering a quantity of herbal cannabis in excess of 60kg.
The drugs have an estimated street value of about £400,000.
A 54-year-old woman and a 50-year-old man have been arrested in connection with the recovery and will appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Friday.
A 23-year-old man was also arrested and later released without charge.
