Police are searching for a man who is wanted in connection with an assault.
Philip Croney, from North Shields, is believed to know he is wanted and is actively evading arrest. The 34-year-old has links to the Wallsend and Howdon areas.
Officers say he is wanted in connection with an assault offence which occurred earlier this year. They are appealing for the public's help to trace him.

Northumbria Police has also warned that it is a criminal offence to harbour a wanted fugitive which could lead to a custodial term.
The force is asking anybody who thinks they have seen him – or know where he is staying – to come forward and assist them with their search.
Croney, or anyone who believes they have seen him, is asked to contact police via 101 or the 'Tell Us Something' page of their website, quoting crime ref 000396T/23. Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
