Police are searching for a woman who has not been seen since bank holiday Monday.
Danielle Best from Sunderland, was last seen in person at around 6.10pm on Monday. The 36-year-old, who lives in the Eden Vale area of the city, has not been in touch with her family since.
It is out of character for Danielle and she was reported missing shortly before 6pm on Tuesday evening. Searches are being carried out across Wearside in a bid to locate her.
Officers are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare. Danielle is described as 5ft 5ins with medium length straight purple hair.
She has two dove tattoos on her right upper arm, a butterfly tattoo on her left shoulder and a tribal tattoo on her lower back.
It is believed that Danielle, who has a local accent, could be carrying a black A4-size shoulder bag.
Northumbria Police is urging anybody who believes they have seen her, or know where she is residing, to get in touch immediately.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the force via 999 or 101 quoting log NP-20230530-0960.
