Police searching for missing prisoner Russell Pope

Police are searching for a missing prisoner who is wanted having failed to return to HMP Leyhill following a release on a temporary licence in Bristol. Russell Pope is described as being a white man, aged 37.

He's about 6ft tall and of medium build, with brown hair and eyes. He has a tattoo of the word 'Rico' on his neck.

Pope has links across the city including Redcliffe, Bedminster, Bishopsworth, Hengrove and also Longwell Green. He was due to return to prison on Tuesday, June 20 and police have been carrying out urgent enquiries to trace him.
