Police have released an image of a man they are searching for in connection to a serious assault in Bolton.
Christopher Kirby, 31, is from the Hall i' th' Wood area of the town but also has connections to Salford, according to Greater Manchester Police (GMP). In a post on social media, a force spokesman stated that Kirby is wanted following an incident in Bromley Cross on September 25.
Officers are asking anyone with information about Kirby's whereabouts to contact them or the independent charity Crimestoppers. "Police are appealing for the public’s helping in tracing a wanted man from Bolton," a GMP spokesman wrote.

"Christopher Kirby, date of birth 16/12/1990 of Hall i’ th’ Wood area, is wanted in connection with a serious assault, that took place in Bromley Cross on 25 September 2022. Kirby is known to have links to both Bolton and Salford.
Anyone with any information regarding the whereabouts of Christopher Kirby is asked to contact police on 0161 856 5637, or via 101. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
