Police searching for Lanarkshire teenager missing since yesterday afternoon

A teenage girl from Lanarkshire has been missing since yesterday afternoon - with police appealing for help to trace her.

Orlaith Teggart, 15, disappeared from Motherwell at about 2pm on April 3.

She is described as 5'5" with long brown hair with blond highlights and of a slim build.

Orlaith was last seen wearing a black cropped Canada Goose jacket, black leggings and white converse trainers.

A police spokesperson said: "Anyone who may have seen Orlaith since this time, or who has any information which may assist us with enquiries, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident 4139 of April 3."

Information can also be given anonymously via Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111.
