Police release photos of hit-and-run driver who seriously hurt bicyclist in Jefferson Park

Police Toyota Chicago Sunnyside

Police released photos of a vehicle that struck and seriously injured a bicyclist last week in Jefferson Park.

The driver struck the cyclist at Sunnyside and Melvina avenues around 1 p.m. May 11 and continued without stopping, Chicago police said.

The vehicle was a white 2013 Toyota Highlander, police said.

Police asked anyone with information to call the Major Accident Investigation Unit at (312) 745-4521.
