A search operation is underway to trace a Scots schoolboy missing since yesterday.
Andrew Greig, 13, was last seen leaving a property on Cawdor Crescent in Greenock at 12.30pm. The teenager has not been seen or heard from since, with concern mounting for his wellbeing.
Andrew is described as 5ft 4in tall, of a slim build and with short, brown hair. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing black Nike tracksuit bottoms, a black North Face padded jacket and black Nike trainers.
Officers are appealing to anybody who may have seen Andrew, or anyone who may have information on his whereabouts, to come forward. Police Scotland can be reached on 101 quoting incident number 3617 of October 2, 2022.
