Police have sealed off a Kilmarnock estate this evening.
Officers are currently guarding a scene on MacPhail Drive in the New Farm area of town.
Cops have set up several police cordons at various points on the road.
Drivers are not allowed through access on MacPhail Drive at all. McNaughton Drive and MacLean Drive also has no access to MacPhail Drive.
Police also appear to be standing guard at the entrance to Kilmarnock Cemetery
At least half-a-dozen police vehicles are currently at the scene.
Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
