Police Scotland arrest man during King Charles visit to Alloa

A MAN has been arrested after an alleged incident which happened close to King Charles's visit to Alloa on Thursday morning.

A 52-year-old man has been charged with breach of the peace following an arrest which took place shortly before the King arrived.

Officers say the arrest took place on Mar Place, which is close to the food bank that was later visited by the King.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “About 10.05am on Thursday, 16 January, 2025 a 52-year-old man was arrested and charged in connection with a breach of the peace in the Mar Place area of Alloa.”
