Police say missing man who vanished almost three days ago may be in Glasgow

Officers searching for a missing Lanarkshire man who vanished last week believe he may have travelled to Glasgow city centre.

Aiden Farrell was last seen at around 1.10pm on Friday, January 13, in Cambuslang but has failed to return over the weekend.

The 35-year-old is described as being around 5ft 8in tall, with a fair complexion, a heavy build and has greying, white hair. He was wearing a red and white Columbia jacket and grey jogging bottoms when last seen.

Police Scotland have issued a public appeal for help to find Aiden, who may have travelled to the Renfield Street area of Glasgow.

A statement from the force said: “We are appealing for the public’s help as part of our efforts to trace 35-year-old Aiden Farrell who has been reported missing from Cambuslang.

“Aiden was last seen about 1.10pm on Friday, 13th January, 2023 and is described as 5'8", fair complexion, heavy build, grey/white hair possibly wearing a red/white Columbia jacket and grey jogging bottoms.

Aiden may have travelled from Cambuslang to the Renfield Street area of Glasgow.

“Anyone who may have seen Aiden since this time, or who has any information which may assist us with enquiries, is urged to contact Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident 3431 of 15th January, 2023.”
