Police renew appeal as search continues for missing Scots man who vanished over a month ago

Police have renewed their appeal for help in tracing a Scots man missing for over a month.

Fife Police have been carrying out an extensive search for Kenneth Wessels over the past four weeks and are asking the public for their help again.

Officers say the 61-year-old left Newbiggin Crescent in Tullibody, Clackmannanshire, around 4.45am on Wednesday, May 4.

He drove his black Toyota Yaris car – registration SF14 DCT – to Carsebridge Road in Alloa before leaving it and walking in the direction of Jellyholm Road and Gartmom Dam.

Kenneth is described as white, 6ft tall, of medium build, clean shaven with short grey hair. He was wearing a yellow long sleeved high-vis jacket, blue jeans and was carrying a dark coloured rucksack.

Extensive enquiries and search activity has been carried out but Kenneth remains missing.

Chief Inspector Audrey Marsh said: “Sadly Kenneth remains missing more than a month after he was last seen.
