Police have released the image of a man they wish to speak to following a reported sexual assault in the Northern Quarter. The alleged incident, as well as an assault on a different woman, happened inside The Freemount bar, in Oldham Street, on August 29, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) say.
According to GMP, two men approached a group of women between 11pm and 11.30pm, and tried to talk to them.
One of the men is suspected of sexually assaulting a 23-year-old woman.

When one of the women told the men they were not interested, the men walked away. As they did, one of the women pretended to pour a drink over one of their heads.
This man then allegedly turned around and punched a 22-year-old woman in the face. The woman was left seriously injured, GMP state.
A GMP spokesman said: "The report was made to GMP the following day and an investigation is ongoing. GMP would like to speak to the male (pictured) in connection to this incident and are appealing to the public for any information."
Anyone who witnessed this incident, who may have CCTV footage or mobile phone footage from that area on that evening is asked to contact GMP on 0161 856 4275 quoting log 1494 of 29/08/2022. Alternatively, you can contact the independent charity – Crimestoppers - anonymously on 0800 555 111.
