Police release image after 'vulnerable' woman, 90, had cash stolen from her home

Money has been stolen from a "vulnerable" elderly woman after a suspect entered her home and stole cash from her purse. The woman, aged in her 90s, was at home when a suspect entered her living room.

The incident occurred at an address in Mapperley Park, on Wednesday, May 17. Nottinghamshire Police has been pursuing a number of leads but is now appealing for the public’s help to trace a man seen outside the address.

Detective Constable Tim Townsend, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a callous and cowardly crime perpetrated against a vulnerable, elderly victim. We are determined to catch the person responsible and believe the man in this image may have information that will help our investigation.
