Police release image after couple racially abused on train to Stansted Airport

Police investigating an alleged hate crime have today released an image of a man they want to speak to.

A couple were travelling onboard a train between Nuneaton and Stansted Airport when they were subjected to racial abuse from a man, police said.

The incident took place at around 5.50pm on March 2.

British Transport Police has released an image of a man who they believe may have information that could help with their investigation.

Anyone who recognises him, or has any other information, is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 431 of 02/03/25.
