Police have released another CCTV image after a man was left fighting for his life following a brutal attack in the Northern Quarter.

The 62-year-old victim was found unconscious on Tib Street just before 6.30pm on Thursday, June 23, police said. The man is believed to have been attacked near the junction with Hilton Street.

Detectives believe the attacker - a male - fled the scene towards Hilton Street, before turning left onto Oldham Street. Police previously released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to about the attack.
